A hatchet-swinging man turned a busy Queens street corner into a scene of bloody chaos Thursday, chopping one cop in the back of the head and slicing a second cop in the arm before two other officers shot him dead on the spot.
The cop struck in the head is in serious condition at Jamaica Hospital, where the second injured officer was also rushed — conscious and alert, according to police sources.
