Just days after a failed car bomb attack on Times Square, a suspicious truck abandoned on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge caused police to shut the span down for about three hours Wednesday night, cops said.<\/p>\n

A bomb squad determined the truck was empty and not a threat.<\/p>\n

The U-Haul truck with Arizona plates was spotted by alert bridge authorities abandoned about 100 yards from a toll plaza on the Bronx side heading to Manhattan at 9:40 p.m.<\/p>\n

Witnesses saw a man with a white bag fleeing on foot towards Queens, cops said.<\/p>\n
