ASU to Create Institute to Find Terrorism Solutions

Arizona State University is planning to create an institute that aims to find solutions to national defense, homeland security, counterterrorism and cyber warfare challenges.

The institute is still un-named, but it will be headed by the chief scientist for the U.S. Air Force for the past two years.

It’s part of ASU President Michael Crow’s new American University Initiative, which encourages university departments to work together to address societal ills.
