In the last 18 months, 34 Americans from have been charged with having ties to terrorism. Terrorism Analysts call it an unprecedented spike.
ABC7 spoke to assistant special agent in charge of the FBI’s Counter-Terrorism Unit in Chicago, Bob Holley, whose job it is to intercept those intent on terrorism before they can commit an act.
Holley says,”The thing that scares me the most is the lone wolf. The one guy we do not know about.” A concern shared by many in the nations fight against terrorsim.
