Michigan police say the suspect who they believe was involved in a brazen, mid-day shooting that left seven people dead, including two children, is currently barricaded in an apartment with a hostage. Officers are communicating with Rodrick Shonte Dantzler, 34, who is holding a man as a hostage, said a police official.
Police consider Dantzler armed and dangerous.Dantzler initially had two hostages, but released a 53-year-old woman at the residence after he received a bottle of Gatorade and cigarettes from police, the Grand Rapids Press reports.
