I am impressed in many aspect with the current Homeland Security compared with the last administration . How ever, we are still dropping the ball big time by not securing our Borders with live boots on the ground . Preparing an emergency readiness kit is a great idea. However, you assume most people can afford to plunk down what looks to be hundreds of dollars for such a lit & then afford to keep spending to keep the kit up to date.
Its just not realistic.
