  • Today, across the border in Mexico, 12 intelligence analysts (11 males and 1 female) were killed and decapitated.

I hope that this series helps the average American citizen better understand what terrorism, in any form, is all about.

If you better understand then you will be better prepared, to help your political representative and law enforcement counter the growing threat of those that would do us harm.

  • Great idea for a show. Interesting investigation and build up on the target. However, in the end the show leaves us with a sense of unfinished business. Despite the promises of Norwegian politicians to get to the bottom of this and work to extradite the Mullah, I was left with the feeling that our heroes are being shined on. The elected officials all sounded sympathetic but also seemed powerless to do anything to help. The bureaucracy seems to rule there. Basically the show does a kind of commando version of “60 minutes”. I hope they follow up to report on successes and failures in the future.

  • Fear sells better than understanding. How about a tv show that instead interviews the families, friends, and grade school teachers of these purported ‘terrorists’ to figure out what has led them to their purported crimes? Maybe it’s just easier for NBC to produce mindless chase narratives.

  • JP, Seriously…? You would like to speak to the terrorists grade school teachers to find out what led them to this type of behavior?

  • Hello Team of “The Wanted”

I am a Norwegian citizen, and last night we all had the “pleasure” of watching your episode about “our” Mulla Krekar.

First I want to say that I totally agree with the essence of your programme – he has to be sent back to where he came from. It is unacceptable to keep this man in our country! No one wants him here, he is not welcome!! And I think most Norwegians care less of his future if he is sent back.. Me included.

Secondly I must say your programme was made in a badly way! You made Oslo look like an exiciting city with a lot happening. Almost like New York. To do this is art, but nothing close to the truth. Everybody visiting Norway/Oslo knows this.. (you too problary) Oslo is a small city – not much happen around her! And to make Grønland (Mulla Krekars neighbourhood, a small part of Oslo) look like Bronx is unbelivable! I actually lived for 5 years in Krekars neigbourhood.. about 45 m from him. I think I saw his building from my kitchen window..
To call this area “HOSTLE TERRITORY” is pathetic! Like you had a potential death treath when walking around…

    About your interviewobjects:
You made 2 interviews of 2 of our leading politicians, Carl I. Hagen and Siv Jensen. (Very good PR for them! And you can problary expect Siv Jensen to be our new Prime Minister, election here time in September. But dont take the credit for this – she has done a good job to get there. Regardingless of the programme of Mulla Krekar)
By choosing to show these 2, you have made a false and one way view of “the case Mulla Krekar”! You should have interviewed our Minister of Foreign Affairs, and problary more people connected to this case.

All your viewers problary shakes their heads and believe we must be the most stupid people, and I cant blame them. After seeing the programme, who can?

Your programme yesterday also make us laugh. It reminds me of CSI or Criminal Minds, good shows – but as we know: not reality. When presenting reality, we expect more and BETTER information. Not presented like an action thriller.. But I guess this is what we up north call “typical American”… And “typical American” is not flattery.

I guess the American way works for you over there, but in Europe we expect much more of educated journalists, movie-makers and so on.

As a topic, a terrorist living amongst us is a very important. Your mission failed regarding Mulla Krekar. And if I ever see your programme again.. I will be very skeptical.

Hope you read this even if I know you’ll never change your style 🙂

  • Wow more terrorist apologists. Let’s talk to the grade school teachers of terrorists to find out why they are so upset…they are upset because they are religious zealots that hate you, your country and your way of life. The last time I checked when we capture a terrorist we either humanly shoot them (since this is a war after all) or we offer them free legal representation. On the other hand, when they capture an American citizen they saw his head off with a rusty knife and send a video home to his family. Poor terrorists, I hope we haven’t hurt their feelings.

  • Gentlemen:
With all due respect concerning the rule of law. These Islamist terrorist could not care less. I know first hand serving on mission in Amman Jordan that I can not discuss to this day that politicians will not jeopardize their international or perceived status. These engagements must be done covertly like it or not. This culture has no respect for any laws except Allah.
I have lived all over the world. I understand middle eastern culture and do not need credentials to uncover the obvious. This is war, period . Yes against a ideology that deserves respect from a danger view point but not from a religious view point. The problem no one has the real guts to expose the enemy and verbaly say it. Political correctness is the weakness of cowards who hide behind this word to avoid the truth.

Quite frankly, the exposure just helped these Moslem terrorist spit in the faces of these honorable soldiers, Green Beret and Navy Seal, I honor your service. Do not dishonor your selfs running around making movies that will have no end game. Take these people out. Then others will have courage. This is the final draft. My apology for the previous draft I sent by mistake.

    Sincerely,

  • I must admit, I was interested in this show…. The interest departed rapidly when I saw what it was. I have to say your trade craft in obtaining the vids on the “Mullah” was a joke and from that point I knew that this was just one more NBC, Left tainted media created “show”. Now If you had a guy with a M40a3 system take out this scum bag at the end, It would be a great enhancement for the Human race…. And that would be a learning experience for the American People. The fact is sometimes you just cant show a good thing, a thing that must be done, in a graph, poll or study and sometimes you need to accept that there are great Americans, Americans that will never be known, doing a great job, under terrible conditions, just because in the end….. citys have rats and the human race has terrorists, the end should be the same for both types of vermin. Without reservation and without remorse… exhale and squeese, Bravo 4.

  • “Your comment is awaiting moderation.” So much for a persons comment being used. “Your comment is awaiting moderation.” shows that NBC cant accept the truth of the situation because thay are so hip deep in the Pocket of the Obama Administration and their Parent “GE”. I wont “Moderate” my comment but I am sure you will.

  • Overall, I liked the show. It’s more information to Americans that we wouldn’t have had otherwise. Just making people aware of the show’s premise, and all it’s implications to Americans is huge and I believe to be a patriotic act in itself. Second, those of you that have commented on the reality of the show… I believe that the documentary/show is more realistic in not always having an ending. Not everything in life has a great or terrible ending, sometimes it’s left to the unknown. I appreciate the updates on Mullah after the show was finished because I feel a sense of satisfaction that The Wanted Crew is still following up on their work to see that their mission is completed as far as they can possibly go with it. If The Wanted Crew didn’t follow up a few times then I think that they were more interested in giving the public the information and not thoroughly performing their mission. Thirdly, I hope that my fellow Americans would be more interested in learning about the truths of our world right now rather than watching another TV show as in CSI or 24 hours that will always have an ending. Lastly, to the woman who commented from Norway, this documentary/show clearly was about giving the world new information plus trying to making a difference for us all not about showing the beauty of your city/country.

    Thank you,

    The Patriot

  • Having just completed watching two of the twenty episodes that will be premiering on NBC, entitled “The Wanted”, I found it interesting that many people did not know these gentleman were living freely amongst the same infidels they despise. Surely living in Norway and Germany is much better suited to there sensibilities, Najmuddin Faraj Ahmed, aka. Muliah Krekar known leader of Ansar Al Islam, I found this man to be most interesting, so into his belief that all infidels, (that’s you and I) must be destroyed no matter how, at any cost, verbally including, (on tape Americans and Norwegians) But he’s a guest of the Norwegian people, living amongst them. Perhaps he just made a mistake and really meant somebody else. The Norwegians themselves deem him dangerous and a threat to their security. Will they extradite him, its their call. I do not think the crew went to Norway to incense the good people whom live there. That just happens to be where he is residing.

Then there is Mamoun Dardanelle , dodging extradition to Spain for Terrorists activities, and what a popular guy he is, he’s got an entourage of hidden admires from all over the world watching his every movement. What did they call him, “Bin Laden’s Finacier” hope he didn’t have any assets tied up with Bernie Madoff. I was curious about one thing, his status as a German citizen, was he naturally born there or applied and received citizenship? I was pleased to here they had changed legislation in their extradition laws.

I’m curious to see who these guys dig up next on their hit parade of Wanted. I noticed through out both episodes it always seemed a communication issue or paper work problems, simple enough problems to correct. You would think. Politicians come and go, but the perpetrators of some of the most indignant hideous crimes against humanity seem to linger, like a stench for years. Why?

Not unlike having to track down Nazi’s after WWII, or Drug czars, Human Traffickers, Gang members, Terrorists (and there are many here in the USA and abroad, whom wear many faces). I believe although it is American TV, this show could help educate those that watch. Those that don’t realize just what is happening in the World they live in.

Many think that the bad guy or gal always lives somewhere else, some distant part of the world or somebody else’s town or city. We insulate ourselves from the harsh reality that the world has become an unstable and dangerous place. For all peoples, all faiths, all races, all genders, all ages. We live in a World community that either will solve these many problems and injustices jointly or not at all. Although I must make note of my concern, the recent resolutions made by the combined UN to uphold any and all that make offense to or toward any follower of Islam a punishable crime in many countries. I don’t believe any faith or peoples of should be victimized because of what they believe or don’t believe. Political correctness will be the hangman’s noose for many unfortunate laws and decisions to come, but I’m off track. Apologies.

Sure, many will say it’s a pipe dream, can’t be done, its been tried and failed.
Many caring people either with non-profit/profit organizations and yes even journalist are trying to put a face on the plights that eventually affect all of us. Grass roots groups, neighbor hood watches, secret witness, Joe blow on the street, Law enforcement, and yes even some politicians throughout the world. Are trying, no matter how little the campaign or how large. It just takes doing the right thing every time , all the time to change the world we live in. We are all not so different from each other. We need the same things to survive, we want the same for our loved ones. (I also realize its an imperfect world, also). So what’s the problem?

I disagree, it can be done and it must be done. Our very existence as a race, a Human race hinges exactly on that it all needs to change, NOW.

It’s TV, its not a perfect show, but it is about real injustices in the world today. If these gentleman only bring the faces of evil to your attention for one hour, each week, just to update all of us, on who they are and where they are, and why they haven’t stood trial for whatever they are being accused of. Then I don’t know what to say to people who obviously don’t want to know, don’t care or who may be incensed by a non-politically correct guy like myself. I pray no harm ever comes to those you know and those you love.

I think the program shows some merit and I will watch as long as it holds its credibly and keeps updating previous intel on those we have already observed.

    Thank You for your time

  • I think what these guys are doing is a service that governments have dropped the ball with. Not only are they taking their time to brings these issues at hand but they are litteraly risking there own lives for not just The United States safety but for other countries as well. For anyone to try and twist this around and say they are just going on witch hunts as I have read or heard from individuals is a simple lack of common sense and memory loss. These people are not individuals that they are pursueing with no suspected crimes but have been tried in court and convicted. It is no coincedence that these criminals are residing in countries where they roam freely. They are hiding with the arrogance of spitting in the face of the rest of the world as if to say “I did it and will continue to do it and you will do nothing of it.”

The Wanted staff deserve praise for their work, dedication and courage to do what governments refuse to do. I thank you and all your staff and I believe your doing the right thing NBC by airing this as we should never forget what really goes on.

  • I also would like to add that I do agree with taking extremes is sometimes unavoidable but not always the answers. If this show can change the way governments handle these issues but discreetly and promptly then there might not be a need for reissuing judgments and orders. I believe the purpose is to show governments and public that these convicted criminals need to be dealt with however that means is and not be allowed to walk freely.

  • You guys are awesome men.I love this show and wouldnt miss it.Please continue to expose these EVIL creatures that walk among decent people. We need more exposure on them so we know where they live. They are animals that need to be captured and put away for ever.Continue your good works and Thank YOU!…

  • Thank You Guys for this awesome show.We need more nights on tv to expose these Animals and sorry excuse for humans. They are EVIL you can see it in their eyes.We need to know who they are and where they live. Keep up the good work. Its my favorite show. We need more people like you guys to remove them from society. Please get more air time this is so important.
    Thank You

    Toni

  • I watched “The Wanted” and loved it – I think more people need to see what is going on – things that the news media are not telling us!! Maybe, these guys can get some kind of justice for us all by what they are doing. They certainly opened my eyes to things that are going on out there that are not reported on the way they should be.

  • I watched the episode of the IDing of the terrorist in Hamburg. Did anyone at NBC check with the CIA to make sure that the show was not interferring with a terrorist who had “turned” and was cooperating with German and US agents or was being observed by other agencies? The families of 911 would likely rather have them catch as many of the terrorists as they can before prosecuting this guy. It’s unlikely that it took NBC to make the German and Spanish government aware that Germany had changed their law. If today’s media existed in WWII we might have lost it.

  • BEST SERIES I’VE SEEN IN 2O YEARS!!!!! WONDERFUL….GO GET EM GUYS.

  • Do any of you realize that this show is FICTION? I mean fiction in the sense that is is all made up by Hollywood writers. This show is NOT a reality show based on fact.

Maybe it would be really nice if any of this were real, but it is not. Get a grip (or a gaffer, best boy, etc).

  • RK McLean – Why would any American call these terrorist coward scumbags a “gentleman”?
He/she would have to be either uneducated, stupid or anti-American/anti-Military.

  • As for this American, watching the nonsense and run-around these Special Forces guys are subjected to is pure craziness. WE need a few Special Forces snipers to just take these scumbags out and send them to their “70 virgins” waiting!!

  • And, as for interviewing these terrorists parents, school teachers and family and friends…hogwash!! In case you haven’t noticed, not one terrorist degenerate HAS INTERVIEWED ANY OF OUR COUNTRYMEN, THAT THEY HAVE TORTURED AND DECAPITATED…family, friends or school teachers to date. Get real!

  • I love watching the show. I think it brings an amazing perspective and knowledge to the general public who may not fully understand what terrorism really means. Finally, it shows the kind of war we are fighting. It shows terrorism nor terrorists confines itself to any border. Keep it going!

  • The Wanted is a VERY good show. In fact, it is much more than a show. Why is is not still on Monday night at 9 p.m. EST? I do not understand, finallly some real quality TV (informative, a very timely topic, real-world, pertinent to all of us, etc.) and it only got to show 3 episodes. Why? The first was 100% on target, the episode focusing on the Iraqi terrorist in Oslo, Norway. I have friends in Norway who confirmed what I learned in the TV show. They do not want this mullah either; these normal Norwegian citizens are also deeply upset at their own government for helping harbor a known terrorist who deseves to answer for his many crimes in courts of law.

We truly need real-world, truth telling, honest TV like this. NBC, why did you pull the show? This makes no sense.

My full compliments & appreciation to the men who worked hard to put this information together. Time for us Americans to get off our comfy sofas and rid ourselves of these terrorist criminals in our midst. And was the State Department listening/watching? The FBI? Why does it take a crew of a few “volunteers” to expose what we pay our own US government officials to do?

NBC, this was finally a quality TV show. Why is it not now aired? Correct this; get this show back in the weekly lineup NOW. Please respond.

  • I would like to see a resolution showing what happened in the return of the terrorist
to Iraq. Is he being held accountable or was he just left free to rain terror
    on the world again?
