Two Guns A Day Not Uncommon at Checkpoints TSA Says

You would think by now that it would be common knowledge that it’s not permissible to board a plane with a gun, but according to the Transportation Security Administration its officers confiscate two guns per day on average at airport checkpoints around the country.

In fact, last week, 10 guns were confiscated in a single day, an unusually high number. That prompted the TSA to put a reminder on the TSA blog, under the headline, “Guns are No Fun at the Checkpoint.”
