Terror Advisor Warns US Faces Increased Home-grown Threat

In unusually candid remarks, Michael Leiter, director of the National Counterterrorism Centre, said that the nation’s defenaes would be probably be breached by a home-grown radical, after a year-long period containing several failed or thwarted attacks that had seen the most intense terror activity since September 11, 2001.

“Although we aim for perfection, perfection will not be achieved. Just like any other endeavour, we will not stop all the attacks,” he said.

  • Anyone can come across Mexican Boarder without a naked body scan or pat down, so who’s fault is it if they get into the country. 160,840 Americans have been killed here in America by drunk drivers since 9/11. If DHS was really out to protect us why is there not TSA agents at every Bar. There is not logic in destroying our Bill of Right. Every pat down is illegal search and seasure.
