The American embassy in Saudi Arabia is warning US citizens that they may be targeted for attack in the kingdom’s central province of Al Qassim.
According to the report there is credible information that an unidentified extremist(s) in Saudi may be planning to attack Westerners working and living in Al Qassim,” the embassy said in a message.
The message stated that the timing and method of potential attacks are currently unknown and urged Americans to keep “security and situational awareness levels high”, and to vary their routes and times to and from work.
