Times Square Suspect Video Released
Police investigating a terror attack that could have set off a deadly fireball in Times Square focused Sunday on finding a man who was videotaped shedding his shirt near the SUV where the bomb was found.Police said the gasoline-and-propane bomb was crude but could have sprayed shrapnel and metal parts with enough force to kill pedestrians and knock out windows on one of America’s busiest streets, full of Broadway theaters and restaurants on a Saturday night.
A large amount of fertilizer rigged with wires and fireworks were found with the bomb, but police said it was not the ammonium nitrate grade that can explode.Police released the surveillance video late Sunday night. It shows a man looking around, then removing a dark shirt to reveal a lighter one underneath.”We’re currently examining video that shows a white male in his 40s in Shubert Alley, looking back in the direction of West 45th. He was also shedding a dark colored shirt, revealing a red one underneath,” NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said.

Come on, the guy is coming from a completely different direction, he glanced over toward the car, nothing unusual in that, he may have just looked at a ladies backside, I do think the authorities should take everything seriously,and follow every lead, but don’t bet on this guy.
If this is the best video security in one of the best known visitor attraction in the USA, then its a disgrace!!!.
Excuse me, I wish these cameras were half as good as the one’s I use for my house and they are cheap models, geez………………
Paleease. This reminds me of the DC sniper case when we spent all our time looking for a white van that had nothing to do with the crimes. Warm day, guy sheds a layer, he was nice enough to set down bag in front of post so as to not block traffic….why do that if he doesnt care about people and just tried to blow people up.? He also looks to his right….no car bomb there. Why hasn’t he come forward? Well, it seems at the moment the whole world watching thinks he is a terrorist….I’d be hiding to!
