Vigilant, an elite US cyber team and alliance of more than 600 volunteers that has quietly tracked Internet bad guys for over 10 years recently lifted it’s veil of secrecy to recruit new volunteers at Defcon.
Vigilant scours Internet traffic for clues about online attacks, terrorists, cartels and other targets rated as priorities by it’s members.
