The bodies of four U.S. citizens were found strangled, beaten and stabbed in a van in this border city, two days after they reportedly left their Southern California homes for a night at the Mexican clubs, U.S. officials said Thursday. The bodies were described as having been tortured; bludgeoned, beaten and with their skulls crushed. They were found wrapped in blankets early Saturday morning, according to a news release from the Tijuana State Attorney’s Office.

No one should be under the impression that Mexican law enforcement will solve these homocides and find the “true” responsible individuals. They won’t and don’t care about the “Norte Americonos”. But they will find someone to charge under pressure from senior mexican government officals if the killings get alot of U.S. press.
Only if Mexico starts to lose money (Tourist Dollars) will you see any significant efforts made to slove this crime, or any other homocides of americans, in the future.
Norte Americanos? Mexicans are “Norte Americanos” as well. And the problem is not that they don’t care about Americans. There is just too much corruption and not enough resources to give Mexico law enforcement that really works. Bribes are commonplace in Mexico. It’s going to be a long time before it’s fixed.
