Drug traffickers shot down a police helicopter Saturday in northern Rio de Janeiro, killing two officers, as it flew over a clash between drug gangs. The dramatic downing comes two weeks after Rio was picked to host the 2016 Olympic games.
Two officers died, while the pilot and three other policemen escaped after the craft hit the ground on a football field and burst into flames.

I hope that the world would now take this into consideration. I mean even though the Olympic games are in 2016. Do the countries of the world really want to put there top althetes in this kind of risk.
I live in Rio and until now I don’t know why they chose Rio for the Olympic games. I think that until 2016 things will worsen.
