Police are saying that a suicide bomber drove directly onto a crowded volleyball field located at the North-West Frontier Province town of Lakki Marwat and blew up an explosive vehicle, killing no less than 95 and injuring more than 100 others.
The explosion destroyed some homes in the area and affected a close by mosque where tribal elders had been meeting. A number of officials are worrying about meager medical facilities in Lakki Marwat. Several doctors from surrounding areas have been showing up to help take care of the >100 injured victims.
