Anti-drugs officers in Mexico are celebrating the capture of one of the country’s most-wanted and brutal traffickers.The capture of alleged Tijuana drug trafficker Teodoro “El Teo” Garcia Simental marks the third high-profile take-down of a Mexican drug trafficker in less than a month. He is considered among the most vicious traffickers in the country.
Garcia was one of the most sought after criminals by the governments of both Mexico and the United States.
Garcia is officially part of the Arellano Felix, or Tijuana, cartel, but is now suspected of fighting them for control of the border city across from San Diego, in the United States.
