A Hawaiian Airlines plane headed for Maui had turned around in the middle of the flight and arrived in safety at PDX.
TSA officials stated that the captain decided to fly the plane back to Portland as a result of a dubious traveler refusing to stow his carry-on baggage. Crews dug around the aircraft using a number of resources such as K9s. Authorities say there were no weapons or explosives found.
