According to this report in the NY Post, a flight attendant with a short fuse threatened to unleash jihad on American Airlines after it fired him for hurling a coffee pot at a stewardess, the feds charged yesterday.
So how did this incident lead to charges of making terroristic threats?
Allegedly Rodney Lorenzo, 45, mailed letters to top airline executives with “Boom!!” written on the envelopes. They contained pages from an employee handbook showing how to access the cockpit.
In the letters, Lorenzo allegedly said he would forward the information to Islamic groups in the hope they would use it against the airline and its passengers.

He should not ever have been released from jail and American should have taken his equipment and manual immediately!…and uniforms!
If he did what he said he was going to do, do you really think they would’ve released him? The FBI obviously had no evidence and a $50,000 bond is not much for a true terrorist. Half of this story is BS and AA should be fined for allowing him to keep such safety sensitive information. Who’s the true idiot here?
