Felipe Dominguez-Vargas, a purported “cell leader” of the infamous Juarez drug cartel,has been sent to El Paso to face federal drug charges. He made his initial appearance in federal court this week where he waived his detention hearing and was ordered to remain in custody pending trial.
Dominguez could up to life in prison if convicted of all the charges.
