Metro Transit System Emergency Response Drill – RFK Stadium

The Metro transit system says it will simulate an explosion aboard a bus to test its emergency response and coordination. Metro says it will conduct the test Monday morning at RFK Stadium parking lot.

The drill follows a similar drill early Sunday that tested emergency response to a simulated explosion aboard a Metro subway train. Sunday’s drill was conducted on a car in the tunnel between the Rosslyn and Foggy Bottom stations.

Metro says residents who live near RFK Stadium can expect to see numerous police, fire and emergency vehicles, and may hear a loud noise between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday.
