Pinal County Sheriff Receiving Death Threats

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, a strong supporter of Arizona’s new immigration law, is receiving threats against his life.

He’s been very outspoken about the need to secure the borders, and the topic is a controversial one.

  • Please, Sheriff Babeu, accept the security! You are much needed. The U.S. should take this to the UN and have the Mexican government censured. If Mexico cannot control the Mexican mafia and drug cartels, they should be under UN security, for what it’s worth. Calderone is seeming more and more to be a renegade himself. If he is too timid to take the criminals on, he should resign. If he was serious about stopping this, which when he was elected I believed he would, it would already be under control. He seems to be president in name only, much like someone else I know.

  • Any LEO that is hurting drug dealers will get death threats. Nothing new and nothing one can do about it except be more careful. I worked narcotics in Germany 1969-1972 in the Army and also death threats. You just have to be willing to absolutely and without hesitation defend yourself with extreme deadly force.

  • Sheriff Paul Babeu is doing a great job. Thank you for all you do to keep AZ citizens safe and to stand up for law enforcement on the border and in the interior of our state. You are appreciated more than you know. I hope you consider a run for a state political office one day.
