This is one we’ll continue to monitor update. Police on Wayne State University’s campus are investigating a potential threat to the university.
Wayne State University police received a tip regarding the threat to the university on Saturday, November 27. The threat was anonymous, and posted online by a WSU student. It described the student’s plan to commit violent acts on WSU’s campus on Wednesday.
Police and the FBI have identified the student and executed a search warrant at the student’s Dearborn home early Monday morning. No weapons were found, but police say they did confiscate some property related to the threat.
