Description: TAK-Response Conference & Expo is being conducted, Sept. 14-16, 2010, at the San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, CA. TAK provides tactical (survival-based) educational tracks for the following disciplines: Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Disaster Response, Homeland Security, and Emergency Nursing. TAK is also approved for up-to 16-hours of POST, BRN, and EMS credit. TAK-Response Conference & Expo qualifies for reimbursement from State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP), Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) grant funds. Additionally, Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention (LETPP) funds can be utilized by law enforcement personnel to attend.
