Terrorists Threaten Biological War If Demands Not Met

A terror group claiming to be the Indian Mujahideen (Assam) yesterday threatened to launch a biological war in Assam if their supporters are not released from the Guwahati Central Jail within the next 24 hours .

The email from Indian Mujahideen (Assam) was received by News Live, a satellite TV channel in Guwahati, and telecast on 7pm news yesterday.

The email signed by Tohik Khan, claiming to be the marketing chief of the so-called outfit, threatened the Assam government with the launching of a biological war if three of their demands were not met within 24 hours.

  • My challenged geography is showing. Where is Guwahatii ? And is this a known terrorist group just now surfacing on the radar ? My only concern is that if they carry out a bioterrism attack and it is successful, will other jhads try the same thing elsewhere ? Could this be a practice run for Europe or the U.S. ?
