Fox News reports a tsunami warning was issued for several islands after a strong earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 8.3 -magnitude quake shook about 120 miles southwest of American Samoa, the USGS reported. The tsunami warning was issued for New Zealand, American Samoa and other Pacific islands, Reuters reported.
