The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City said Thursday in a statement that the Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez has closed to “review its security posture,”. The facility, on the border with Texas, will be closed Friday and will remain closed until the security review is completed, according to the embassy statement.
No reason for the security review has been given

first of all, why you do if you have an appointment?
Why we should wait when we have a for days wait without notice to re schedule?
how do know if the consulate can still see us after the day of the appointment past?
At least the consulate should let all the people know a specific date to show up for the appt , the money doesn’t fall from the sky to wait till they open, knowing that they schedule a specific date to show up.
We worry about oursafety too but we appear for our appt. but they are closed?
We are taking risk, time,off work and not making money but losing it.
what do we have to do next?
