  • Stay alert and make sure the children are safe at all times. Make sure the men/women are truely “who they say they are”. It is so much going on today…we do not know who the real Homeland Security Employees are. I wonder myself…if we have foreign people in America walking our streets with our uniforms and badges. How are we suppose to respond when we not even sure of whats what. When it comes to safety of children…it is best to bring in a local police that school knows before anyone is allowed on property of schools. Being prepared and alert for anything anytime.

  • Its a shame, but Cher is right. The real problem is, many Americans, wishing to cooperate w/ law enforcement, tend to go along. Part of our unity as Americans I suppose. In this case, the right thing to do was to contact Homeland Security & ask questions like these school officials & local law enforcement did.
Sometimes, its right to question authority. And this is especially so when it comes to the kids. Access to an elementary school full of kids, leaves me with serious concerns. The first thing that came to my mind, was that school in Russia.
Homeland security will probably give no advance notice of their actions. But, what school officials must do is be prepared for the outburst of a terrorist. And, they should not shy away from telling such officials they intend to call their supervisors for verification. Seems to me, once school officials say that, if they are fake, they will either go off the deep end, or run.
    I suspect, run!
