A gunman equipped with an assault rifle invaded a power business early this morning at northern St. Louis, shooting a minimum of three persons. One or more of the innocent targets were most likely killed. Various workers made a run for the roof to avoid the gunfire. Some men barricaded themselves inside a maintenance room.
The shots went off at 6:30 in the morning at ABB Power, located at 4350 Semple Avenue. The shooter had evidently still been inside the structure at 8:30 a.m. A business supervisor informed the police that the shooter was an angry staff member who might have lost his job not long ago.
