A total of five envelopes that contain white powder along with a note reading “black death” have been sent to UC Irvine, as reported by KCAL9. All five envelopes came from the same return address.
A fourth envelope had been found earlier the same day that the fifth was, and was specifically addressed to an associate Dean of Biological Sciences and was delivered to the Natural Sciences II building. The office was shut down whilst exams were performed to check for harmful substances, University Spokesman Tom Vasich said.
